@ heather: Let's consider your hypothetical. My ill loved one completely misunderstands something a radio host/doctor says on the air. He then joins in on a mob of people calling that public figure with a voice vile names. He then joins them in harassing his wife and children on social networks. This all while multiple online media outlets are misquoting this person and tarnishing a name he worked years* on making for himself. How would I feel if that guy's friend called my ill loved one a bunch of names? I'd feel like he deserved it for being an idiot. You don't like his apologies? Tough. You can only apologize so many times. The only* people rewriting things are the people *ignoring* his apologies and disregarding the context he's explained *countless* times. Why not just be adults about this, except his apologies and let him inform the public about this? He's completely humbled himself before you a-holes and you continue to trash him. And you wonder why Mike said what he did? I stand behind both Drew AND Mike. You're all a bunch of malcontent *s. Completely unwilling to listen to reason and Mike was 100% spot on concerning your * attitudes. |

As a female who suffers from various illnesses, including IC, I am glad that Dr. Drew did a kind of apology for his original incorrect comments. He did point out that IC and Endometriosis were real diseases with major problems associated with them.
I cannot believe that his co-host resorted to abusive name calling and also denigrated those of us who have these diseases. It seemed as if he was trying to stir up more controversy.
Dr. Drew allowed these offensive remarks to go unchallenged. His behavior makes me feel that the apology he made was not truthful.
He fell back on the old theory that women with these diseases need mental therapy, not medical treatment. He backed up his opinion stating her problems were due to sexual abuse.
It seems as if he has not progressed in his knowledge of new medical research.
He should not be giving old worn out, disproven reasons for diseases that have been proven to be very real, indeed. |

@ Phil: Thanks man. Also Drew taking these people to task for the nonsense they say would be welcome news. It's always a bunch of lackluster halfwits taking the time out of their not so busy day to crap on a guy who has devoted the better part of his adult life to helping others. I hope some of these people are held accountable. |

Nick H, bravo. You clearly actually listen to the show. Most of these imbeciles are only here because some article/blog somewhere posted a distorted version of what Drew said. 99% of people posting here and on facebook did not hear the actual show out loud and in its entirety. Drew said he plans to sue some of these news outlets for defamation because some of them outright lied to get the headlines, and that is the main reason these people are whining here. Even among those that heard the audio, very few commentors are regular listeners who fully understand the type of person who calls loveline (uneducated, mentally ill, abuse hx). We might be a fighting losing battle trying to keep up with these idiots but glad to see someone else stand up to them. |

Drew has apologized countless times. He's even agreed to do a podcast on endometriosis on his own show. You idiots must have nothing at all going on. You'll just be angry no matter what. It's like you're such losers, you can't even tell when you've won. Whine all you like. You'll all fade back into obscurity soon enough. |
