I have been listening to Loveline since I was 12. I am 27 now! I think that Dr. Drew, Adam, Mike, or whoever the co-hosts maybe, have always given great advice, especially to the youngins. It is important for young people to have educated/experienced role models and mature influences rather than learning "facts of life" from their peers. However, the waaayyy heavy use of satire that I figure is totally lost on immature audiences, could have adverse effects (I can't think of any). I can tell because a lot of callers are down right slow. And some take "Spencer Pratt", for example, very literally. |

Do you really think that every 12-year-old that listens is having sex?
It is unbelievable how ignorant some people can be. |

I seem to remember the very beginning of every show: LOVELINE IS MENT FOR ADULT AUDIENCES. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED. If parents are letting their kids listen to Loveline, they have no right to complain.
Who said anything about parents complaining? My comment was about the people associated with Loveline knowing how young their listeners are - regardless of the warning - and that there should be some responsibility that goes along with that knowledge.
One would think social responsibility is a bad thing judging by some of the comments on this thread. People can get all the real porn they want on the internet. You wouldn't be missing anything if Mike were to stop these antics on the radio. |

To all you girls who were "disgusted". insecurity looks bad on everyone. Get over it. Joanna Angel is the best and the porn stars she gets for her movies are always the Creme of the Crop.. lol .. take it from me, guys always prefer confident, secure girls like me who dont feel threatened by porn...
It has nothing to do with insecurity, and I am not threatened by porn - watch it all the time. However, there's a time and a place for it. Everyone involved in Loveline is aware that the listeners are as young as 12, so a little responsibility is in order. I was not offended by it in the least, but I don't think kids in their early teens should hear that. |

The show is starting a downward spiral.
Mike needs to get his a$$ to more meetings if he thinks this is appropriate content for loveline. I like Mike as a co-host, but this isn't some morning zoo schtick show and he will drag it down if he tries any more of this crap.
